WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SEASON 3 OF "THE CHALLENGER"

****This article will contain spoilers from 'Season 2' if you are yet to watch that season you may not want to read this article****

After the big explosive ending in Season 2 that saw one of our main characters bite the dust (in this case being captain Mora), we wanted to go back to our roots for Season 3... We started by doing something we were yet to do, look back at our past films. We noticed loose ends that we hadn't tied up, such as the Iraq flashbacks from "The Challenger 3."  That flashback ended opened ended with Lucas Wolf holding Rick Sledge out of a window by the throat. Now for the first time in two films we are revisiting that scene and continuing it, showing how Sledge survived such tough circumstance. That will be shown in the season premier titled "Born to Kill (November 1st)." This season is going back to our roots in every aspect. The main part being the realism factor which we slightly moved away from in "The Challenger 5: Dark Triad." The next aspect is the cinematography. We have certain style points from "The Challenger: Unlimited" that will be making a comeback.  Another thing we are bring back is Gunnerson being a detective apposed to the Lawman.

In Season 3, Gunnerson doesn't work for the LAPD, but hes tracking down Rick Sledge who has gone missing. We will showcase the great detective that Gunnerson is throughout the final season.  One loose end we are going to tie up is Antonio Ricci JR's fate in the opening scene of the Season 3 premier. Film 5 ended with Ricci at gun point by The Challenger and thats how Ricci's legacy was supposed to end. But we decided that people would feel ripped off by that ending so Ricci's fate will be shown instead of leaving it opened ended.Another key factor of this season is "death." A main character will be killed off in one of the final episodes. This is a way of keeping things interesting in our series, if everyone always won it wouldn't be worth watching. But in "The Challenger" we have a common theme that if you watch closely you'll notice. Other than the "Revenge" factor, we never see The Challenger win.

After each and every film he comes out with more loss and regret that he carry's with him.  So which hero will die? You'll find out by the end of the season. This season also has a big structure change... The Lawman is no more, he will not be a main factor in this season as Gunnerson will no longer dawn the mask and hoody. The biggest change this season is the introduction of femme fatal characters such as an assassin named Holly Rawls, leader of the Irish mob Aryn Sky and of course Barbara will return alongside her boss Mr.Provenzano. Another new female role will be introduced in the series finale and shes a vigilante like Sledge named Strike. Other new characters this season are, Giovanni Ricci (new don), Mendez (Spanish drug cartel), Barracuda, Hank and Drax.

Season 3 premiers on November 1st.
