SO IT BEGINS - June 8th 2006
At 8:30 pm on June 8th 2006, I had just finished watching an episode of The Simpsons. I was verey disapointed in the episode. So I did what I usally do after watching a sitcom , I called my cousin Aramis. We talked about ways the episode and the series could have been improved. The topics (as they usally do between Aramis and I) drifed into a completely and unexpected direction. We began to talk about creating a Tv Show of our own. Actually the topic was brought up by me and Aramis laughed as if it were a joke. But it were no joke." I'm Serious," I said. " We should do a TV show." The laughter stopped. "I Don't know about that Andrew," Aramis Replied. So then I said: "Your all talk. "
"You say we can do better until I say lets do it." Aramis laughed. "I guess we can try," Aramis said. Next on my list was a name. I had this idea in my head of the name revolving around the concept of hell. Aramis thought different. He thought that hell had nothing to do with our show. He was right. My idea of having hell in the titled was nothing more than to attract attention to our show. He understood what I was saying and came up with the title "Mondays are Hell." I didn't like it that much. I thought that by having Monday in the name it would make people think that everything takes place on a Monday. Its kind of stupid of me when I look back.
So I pitched the name "Life Is Hell."Aramis thought it was too negative. It was now 9:30. We had dicussed our show for an hour and we couldn't decide on a title. So Aramis suggested that we flip a coin. I agreed and said that I would flip and he would call. I didn't even have a coin. I just made it look like I won. But Aramis saw right threw that and he on his side flipped a coin and I still won. I guess it was just meant to be. So the name was now "Life Is Hell." Then we decided that our show would be a cartoon meant for people 15 and up. But not everything goes according to plan as we would later want it to be a real life sitcom. But at this point it was a cartoon.
So It Begins...
